Tedros Ghebreyesus, head of the World Health Organization (WHO), said on Sunday that the COVID-19 pandemic is “most certainly not over.”
Even though the most prevalent strain of COVID-19, the Omicron variant, is statistically proven to be on the decline in the U.S.
According to The Daily Wire, Ghebreyesus answered the question, “So, is COVID-19 over?" with: "No, it’s most certainly not over. I know that’s not the message you want to hear, and it’s definitely not the message I want to deliver,”
Ghebreyesus continued to blame most of the issues on "vaccine hesitancy driven by misinformation and disinformation.”
