Russia and Ukraine have entered into emergency peace talks in an attempt to resolve their five day war, according to The Washington Times.
Ukrainian officials have said that the Kremlin’s agreement to talk is already a sign things aren’t going as planned for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Ukrainian forces claim that they are doing unexpectedly well at warding off the Russian forces, and have inflicted deadly tolls on the advancing foes. READ MORE
According to Reuters, "Officials from Russia and Ukraine ended peace talks on Monday and will return to their respective capitals for further consultations before the second round of negotiations"
No resolution from Russia to halt its invasion has come from the negotiations of yet, and analysts doubt whether these talks will appease the seemingly crazed Russian President, Vladimir Putin.
